The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), through its partnership with UMass-Amherst College of Engineering’s UMass Transportation Center, is presenting a new series of webinars focused on innovation in transportation in September and October. The Center will present one or two sessions per week, and will cover a range of topics related to technology and other innovations, including cross-agency collaborations and partnerships. The Center says that “all transportation practitioners from federal, state, regional, and local transportation agencies, transit agencies, academia, and private industry are invited to attend these one-hour sessions.”

The series begins on Thursday, September 17, with a presentation on Managing, Analyzing and Tracking Materials through LIMMS (Laboratory Information Materials Management System). For more information, go to the Innovation Series Home Page.
